Buy Modern Māori Art
At the core of Willa Black's Design Framework for Māori inspired Art is that the Artists themselves are New Zealanders, first and foremost...then with that comes their Māori heritage at the same time embracing their mixed lineage whether that be European (Pākeha), Indian or Asian.
This modern piece titled "Awhi Mai" (translation: Support me, care for me) was a heartfelt creation and tribute to the amazing mahi (work) done by Women's Refuge New Zealand, in supporting women and children suffering from domestic abuse. In the print, our wahine Māori wears a Korowai (tasseled cloak), a Manaia Pounamu necklace and her hair is adorned with native flora, all which have healing properties in Te Ao Māori (the Māori world view).

New Zealand Fauna
While New Zealand has many native fauna, it's still home to some of the most well known duck species around the would including this piece dedicated to the Mallard Duck...
This abstract artwork is called "New Zealand Mallard," the Artist's description of this piece is that it is rising from the water in a flutter. This is a Limited Edition piece.
