What does Ahi mean and what does the artwork show?

Ahi is the Māori word for fire. In te ao Māori, fire carries deep significance — energy, warmth, transformation, and the sacred ahi kā (home fires) that sustain a community's connection to land and ancestors. The Ahi artwork — the first released in the collection — explores fire and energy through bold koru spiral forms painted in deep orange, red and black. Hau, Whenua and Wai are in progress.
