Artist's Description

Swirls of deep green, smoky grey, and rich chestnut echo the iridescent tones of the bird’s feathers, while the crisp white background offers balance, letting the energy of the moment take center stage.

This is more than a nature print — it’s a moment frozen in time in true abstract form. The artist draws inspiration from a scene familiar to many: a duck startled into flight by a rustle from a hidden maimai (duck blind). Wings rise in a blur. Water shifts. Feathers scatter. It's that breath between stillness and chaos — that fleeting transition from calm to motion — that this piece captures with elegance and edge.

Whether you're drawn to wildlife, movement, or modern minimalism, Mallard in Motion brings all three into perfect harmony.
